1. Tell Us About Your Company? What Inspired You to Get Into The Cosmetic Ingredient Industry?
Our company, Nanovex Biotechnologies, is a biotechnology-based company focused on drug delivery systems (liposomes and others) for medical applications. We work with Research Centers and Pharma companies around the world to develop new treatments and products based on our technology. We are able to encapsulate different drugs into our systems targeting them specifically to their therapeutic target using different strategies. The main targets are cancer cells or specific organs such as lungs, brain, or skin.
Due to our experience in dermal applications, as well as the proposals of various cosmetic companies, in 2017 we created our brand INdermal that designs develops and manufactures specific target delivery systems for cosmetics, which are capable of enhancing the efficacy of cosmetic actives up to 12 times.
2. What Makes Your Ingredient Unique?
Our highly qualified team is made up of experts in the design, development and production of drug delivery systems.
Our products are designed for specific releases on various cosmetic targets (epidermis, stratum corneum, follicle, hair, ...) formulated with pharmaceutical-grade products and an innovative manufacturing process that provides unique characteristics such as high stability and encapsulation efficiency.
In addition, our products have a complete characterization of our liposomes (size, concentration, surface charge, distribution, ...) both once manufactured, and once our customers add it to their products.
3. Is Your Ingredient Sustainable?
Our products are generated in accordance with the environment, through clean, non-polluting processes, optimizing the energy used and respecting the rights of the people who have intervened in the production processes. In addition, all of our products contain more than 90% of natural origin compounds and most of them are available in vegan and 100% natural versions.
4. What Types of Formulas Benefit From Adding the Ingredient From The ChemBox? Which Ingredient Can It Replace?
Our products are compatible with all types of cosmetic formulas such as aqueous base products, O/W or W/O emulsions, among others, except with products based exclusively on pure oils. All cosmetic products will enhance their effectiveness and improve their stability with our technology.
