Seneca’s Cosmetic Science (Work-Integrated Learning) program is a one-year program consisting of two semesters of courses with a work term in-between. Students are available for a work term either in the fall (September-December) or winter (January-April). Upon completion of the first term, students will have gained an understanding of key topics including the formulation process for emulsions and color cosmetics, global regulations and challenges, biological targets and safety evaluation. All students have a degree or diploma or equivalent in biochemistry, pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field of study.
